eSpatial and Laser-Scan Demonstrate Their Technology Alliance

eSpatial (Ireland) and Laser-Scan (UK) have presented a demonstration of iSMART 5 GeoPortal working with Radius Topology at INTERGEO.

The joint solution provides a platform for controlled, enterprise-wide publishing and capture of quality data. The Pure Web data capture
and applet-based environment delivers advanced digitising, and is also the first pure web solution which utilises Radius Topology to ensure data
quality.

Together eSpatial and Laser-scan can now demonstrate the use of eSpatial's iSMART 5 GeoSpatial Suite delivering pure web digitising, with Laser-Scan's
Radius Topology ensuring immediate data quality. Both technologies build on the value provided by Oracle Spatial & 10g Application Server enabling
organisations to deliver web deployable spatial applications. In addition to a web GeoPortal, eSpatial's iSMART product supports multiple delivery
models, including a bespoke Pure Web application and fully customisable java applet applications underpinned with a scalable, role-based and secure
server environment. Radius Topology further complements these deployment options by sitting on the server side alongside Oracle, providing high
quality topology checking of data before it is committed to the database. Based on the customer's business rules, Radius Topology will automatically deliver intelligent data snapping, geometric checking and maintenance of connectivity whilst editing is taking place.
